Aperture oh aperture

As per my instructions,

Three things I do know about the oh so wonderfulness that is aperture.
1.  The smaller the number the larger your aperture is gong to be and visa versa with large numbers equalling smaller apertures.

2.  The smaller your aperture is the more depth of field and sharpness.  Once again, The larger your aperture is you have less depth of field and less sharpness.

3.  In order to get a "correct" exposure, your aperture and shutter speed need to be proportional.  On a good day with moderate light and an aperture of oh say 4, your shutter speed would be around 100-200ths of a second.

TA DA.  Three things, with explanations and whatnot.

Some pictures to show your "I get it-ness" would be wonderful.
BTW I am hard at work today setting the lab up to read your (and others) RAW files. Hopefully this will make life much more productive for you.
Have a nice weekend!
